This will be a very intense week for the enthusiastic international group of students gathered in Milan to take their WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits course.
Over 80 wines from all over the world will be tasted during the five days of this advanced and demanding course, which will end on Friday with the two-part tasting and theory exam.
Here they are! The Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 3 Advanced certificates and lapel pins for the stundents on the Milano Wine Academy November 2014 course are in from London.
Excellent results for everyone: out of 11 awards, 8 with Distinction and 3 with Merit. A great push for all those who will progress even further in their WSET studies.
On the third day of our intensive 5-day WSET Level 3 course, the going gets tough... And our students get going with a tasting of five spirits to start off the day: Vodka, Gin, Cognac, old Rum and Islay Single-Malt Whisky.
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust is delighted to announce another record year for the number of candidates who sat for a WSET qualification in a 12 month period.
The number of candidates in academic year 2013/14 (to 31st July) was 56,215 – this represents an increase of 16% over the candidate numbers in the previous twelve month period.
We are excited to announce that, starting Semptember 2014, Milano Wine Academy is offering scheduled WSET Level1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses also in Rome.
Courses will be held in the functional and fully equipped classrooms of Polo Didattico, in Piazza Oderico da Pordenone, 3.
